Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

Clearing skies and comfy… The area of low pressure that brought us the rain yesterday continues to move up the East Coast. Skies will continue to clear out from mid-morning to midday, with sunshine this afternoon. Highs will reach the low 60s, near normal for this time of year. Expect clear skies tonight with lows falling into the 40s. Inland areas will slip into the 30s by tomorrow morning.

Sunshine will continue for most of Wednesday with a few extra clouds building in during the evening hours as a cold front moves in. Rain chances will remain slim. Tomorrow’s highs will warm slightly into the low to mid 60s. We will see more sunshine for the end of the workweek with a nice warm up. Expect highs in the low 60s on Thursday then mid to upper 60s for Friday and Saturday.

Tropical Update

We are watching a broad low pressure system located over the southwestern Caribbean Sea. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for slow development during the next several days. A tropical depression is likely to form by late this week or over the weekend while the low drifts north to northeast.
