NORFOLK, Va. - Tuesday, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo spoke publicly for the first time since August. While reading a prepared statement to media (without taking questions from reporters), Romo acknowledged his role as Cowboys backup quarterback. Rookie Dak Prescott will remain the starter, even though Romo is medically cleared to play after injuring his back in the preseason.

The classy remarks led several media members to praise Romo for taking the "high road". Some reporters even said the remarks are among the most graceful things  they've seen. News 3 Sports Director Adam Winkler weighs-in on Romo's reasoning and shares his thoughts on why the "high road" shouldn't be the one less traveled.
