Man reported missing from Isle of Wight Co. since October 22

missingiowISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. – The Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man reported missing since Saturday, October 22.

Authorities say 28-year-old Douglas Kent Martin left his home in the 1600 block of Whispering Pines Trail that day and told his family members he was going to a local laundromat to wash some clothes.

No one in the family has seen or heard from Martin since then.

He left home driving a white 2008 Hyundai Sonata with Virginia tags WTP-2683.

Martin is described as a white male, 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighing 280 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Martin does have facial hair.
