JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. –  Beginning Monday, the 1st Fighter Wing will conduct a training exercise at Langley Air Force Base that will last until Saturday, November 19.

During the exercise, F-22 Raptors and personnel assigned to 1st FW will test their capacity to conduct simulated combat flying operations across various missions and scenarios in response to potential national-level taskings.

Personnel from the Virginia Air National Guard’s 192nd Fighter Wing are also participating in the exercise.

The exercise includes round-the-clock flying operations and increased airfield activity outside normal operating hours.

Ingoing and outgoing traffic to Langley AFB will not be interrupted but it may be delayed at times.
