Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Warmer today, cooler tomorrow… Our up and down temperatures will continue as we head into the weekend. We will warm into the mid 60s this afternoon. Expect plenty of sunshine but it will be breezy with NW winds at 10 to 15 mph for most of the day. A cold front is set to push through the area this evening. Rain chances will be slim but extra clouds are expected and winds will ramp up. Winds will gusts to 30+ mph tonight and into early Saturday. Overnight lows will return to the mid 40s.
Even colder air will move in behind the front. Highs will only reach the low 50s on Saturday and with strong north winds it will feel more like the 40s for most of the day. Winds will relax by Saturday evening as temperatures fall. Many locations will see numbers near or below freezing by Sunday morning. Highs will rebound back to near 60 by Sunday afternoon. Expect plenty of sunshine all weekend.
