Coast Guard assists two on stranded yacht near Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. – A response team with the U.S. Coast Guard assisted two people who were aboard an adrift yacht on Thursday.

The yacht with the two people on board was adrift three miles east of Grand View Beach in Hampton.

The two people on board were stranded until the RBM crews arrival.

A 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew from Coast Guard Station Little Creek in Virginia Beach assisted the yacht Rebel Yell at Cobb’s Marina in Norfolk in the response efforts.
