PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Several Swanson Homes families tell News 3 they have to relocate to a new property after their homes were condemned.

Many of their first floors were destroyed and they had concerns about mold.

Families say several homes were condemned on Friday.

Wednesday, they say they had a meeting with the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority and were told they are moving to the Lincoln Park community, or they can terminate their lease.

News 3 reached out to the interim Executive Director or the PRHA numerous times and we are still waiting to hear back.
