Get ready for a temperature roller coaster ride this week….Buckle up! Our temperatures are about to take a plunge.

A cold front will slide from the north this evening. We’ll see a few clouds here and there and possibly a sprinkle or light shower, but most areas will be dry. We’ll all begin noticing a difference with our temperatures along with the winds though. Low temperatures will be in the 40s with breezy winds from the north at 10 to 15 mph.

On Tuesday, get ready for a fairly cool day. Average highs are in the upper 60s this time of the year. For Tuesday, highs will only reach the lower 60s. Overnight lows will dip into low 40s for most areas. However, some inland communities will likely wake up to morning temperatures in the 30s Wednesday! Bundle up. By Wednesday afternoon, under mostly sunny skies, most of us will see highs in the upper 50s!

Temperatures will gradually warm into the upper 60s on Thursday ahead of another cold front. That front will spread a few showers our way Thursday into early Friday. Highs will be back in the 70s by the weekend.  And as we look ahead to Halloween, right now, conditions are looking dry with highs in the 60s.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Stray Shower/Sprinkle (10%). Breezy. Low temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds: N 10-15 mph.

Tomorrow: Mostly Sunny. Cooler. High temperatures near 60. Winds: N/NW 5-15 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly Sunny and Chilly. High temperatures in the upper 50s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
