You need to be sporting purple if you are around St. Paul, Minnesota, Thursday.

Mayor Chris Coleman declared it “Prince Day” in honor of the late superstar who died April 21 of an accidental overdose of the opioid fentanyl.

Landmarks around the city will be lit up in purple and there will be a tribute concert held at the Xcel Energy Center.

“Prince: The Official Tribute” performers include Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Christina Aguilera, Tori Kelly and “Purple Rain” costars Morris Day and The Time.

The stars seemed as excited as fans.

Khan tweeted, “It was a spiritually charged rehearsal 4 me. It’s like coming back 2 Mecca. I saw @prince’s spirit all over this thing!”

There will also be a host of other events held around the city to honor Prince, including film screenings and a dance party. Many fans have continued to mourn the singer’s passing and are expected to flock to Paisely Park for a limited schedule of tours of the pop star’s home.

All of the Prince love comes amid reports that handlers of his estate are shopping a possible deal for his vault of unreleased music.

According to Billboard, the estate is looking to fetch as much as $35 million for the music. Prince’s attorney, L. Londell McMillan, refuted the report.

“Irresponsible journalism on #Prince should be a crime,” McMillan tweeted. “Don’t put out garbage please!”
