VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.  - Four days after a storm pummeled Virginia Beach, neighbors in the Windsor Wood section of the resort city are beginning their clean up efforts.

The majority of the homes were completely flooded by Saturday's storm. Some neighbors say the water was so strong it came through the side of the house and even through their stoves.

On Wednesday, ripped up carpet, damaged doors and people's personal items lined the streets, all of it now considered trash.

For others, they spent the day trying to dry out their belongings and trying to salvage whatever memories they could.
