Free flu vaccination clinics in Virginia Beach on October 15

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Beach Department of Public Health will hold free flu vaccination clinics at Newtown Elementary School and Birdneck Elementary School on Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nurses from the Virginia Beach Department of Public Health and volunteers from the Medical Reserve Corps will administer flu vaccines free of charge to adults and children.

Children must be ages 3 years and older. Adults should bring a copy of their child’s immunization record if available.

Only 1,100 doses of the vaccine will be available. The vaccines will be administered on a first-come, first served basis.

Anyone with questions about the vaccination clinics can call the VBDPH at (757) 518-2700 weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
