NORFOLK, Va. - Nauticus is already preparing their annual haunted ship and this year they need your help!

Every October, the Battleship Wisconsin becomes home to some scary guests each weekend to add a little fright to the usual battleship tour.

In years past, it's been a guided tour where someone walks guests through, but this year there will be actors on board to help tell the scary story.

If you're interested in giving people a good scare, you can audition to be one of the characters haunting the ship this year.

This year's theme is 'Alien Terror.'

Monday night auditions are being held at Nauticus for 12 open roles throughout the haunted ship.

Auditions are from 6 to 8 p.m. and anyone interested can come prepared with a monologue or one will be provided for you.

If you do get the part, you'll have to be at a number of practice performances as well as at all the performances during the month of October.

The actual haunted ship is open for visitors starting October 12th and running every weekend through Halloween.
