Cheryl Nelson
An Emmy-nominated and AP award-winning TV host, public speaker and certified broadcast meteorologist, Cheryl has appeared nationally on “The Real” daytime talk-show, The Weather Channel, The AccuWeather Channel, Fox News Channel, CNBC and other networks.
She is a former Mrs. Virginia International and speaks world-wide at various company events and conferences about national disaster preparedness.
FEMA recently recognized her efforts to educate citizens with a “Preparedness Award for Awareness to Action.” Cheryl is a native of Richmond and graduate of Pennsylvania State University, She, her husband and their “adorable” cats have called Hampton Roads home for more than a decade.
