SUFFOLK, Va. - You've heard the expression when pigs fly--but what about dogs?
Spike's K-9 Fund founder James Hatch and his K-9 companion, Mina, got strapped up and went skydiving at an event at Skydive Suffolk on Saturday.
The event was created to promote awareness and educate the community about working dogs and their vital role in law enforcement.
Hatch has worked to equip K-9s in Hampton Roads with ballistic vests.
After the jump, the Suffolk Police Department was presented with a vest donated by Skydive Suffolk.
