NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - A Hampton woman has been reported missing, and police say a woman played a role in her disappearance and possible death.
Michelle Garner
The missing woman is 51-year-old Michelle Ann Garner. According to a family member, Garner was last seen at the Key West Inn in Newport News on August 14 with Estrada.
Newport News Police were dispatched to the area of Key West Inn Sunday morning on a report that a woman had possibly overdosed. Officers did not locate a woman who had overdosed.
A missing person's report for Garner was filed on Monday night. Newport News Police responded to the last place Garner was reportedly seen, Key West Inn, but did not locate Garner.
Garner's family members told News 3 they believe and fear she has been killed.
Catalina Ariella Estrada
Catalina Estrada, 38, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with concealment of a dead body.
She remains in custody in the Newport News City Jail.
