KOKOMO, Ind. – Race car driver Conor Daly was in Kokomo, Indiana, to attend a memorial for driver Bryan Clauson when severe storms hit central Indiana on Wednesday.
A tornado warning was issued for Howard County, and everyone at the Kokomo Speedway was ordered to seek shelter, according to WXIN.
A tornado hit the ground near Markland Mall and completely dismantled a Starbucks coffee shop.
Daly drove by the Starbucks shortly after the tornado passed, and he tweeted, “Unbelievable! Just left @kokomospeedway and found an entire Starbucks displaced by tornado! Hope everyone is ok!”
There is no word yet on whether there were any injuries.
Another tweet by Daly doesn’t appear to show any other buildings in the area suffering the same severity of damage as the Starbucks.
