HAMPTON, Va. – Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven that happened Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 8500 block of Orcutt Avenue around 2:45 a.m. on a report of a robbery.
The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the area on foot and headed northbound on Orcutt Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5′ 10″ – 6′ tall and about 180 -190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt and black jeans.
