Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Even hotter this weekend… Highs will climb into the low and mid 90s today, with dew points in the mid to upper 70s. Expect heat index values this afternoon between 100 and 105 for most areas. We should see a nice mix of sun and clouds again today. An isolated shower or storm could pop up this afternoon but most areas will stay dry.
Highs will climb into the mid 90s for the weekend. Expect afternoon heat index values between 105 and 110 both Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances will remain limited for the weekend. An afternoon “pop-up” shower or storm is possible each day with a nice mix of sunshine and clouds.
Highs will slip back into the low 90s to start next week but will fall into the upper 80s around midweek. Our chances for showers and storms will increase for midweek as well.
