The heat continues… Highs will climb into the low 90s today but with dew points in the mid 70s it will feel hotter. Expect heat index values this afternoon just over 100. We should see a nice mix of sun and clouds again today. An isolated shower or storm could pop up this afternoon but most areas should stay dry.
Highs will climb a few degrees Friday, with highs in the low to mid 90s. Heat index will be near 105 tomorrow afternoon. Highs climb into the mid 90s for the weekend. Expect afternoon heat index values between 105 and 110 both Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances will remain limited for Friday and the weekend. An afternoon “pop-up” shower or storm is possible each day with a nice mix of sunshine and clouds.
