News 3 and Southern Bank have partnered up to collect school supplies for Operation Backpack Blitz!
You can drop off new backpacks and school supplies at any area Southern Bank location until August 17.
ForKidsVA will distribute the backpacks to local homeless children and families!
You are also invited to bring backpacks and school supplies to the Chili's Grill & Bar at 4085 Virginia Beach Blvd. in Virginia Beach on August 17 from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Plus, tell your server you are there to support ForKids and Chili's will donate 20% of your check.
ForKids is a non-profit agency founded in 1988 with a mission to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty for families and children.
