NORFOLK, Va. – This week a food drive is going on called We Feed Norfolk.
People are invited to participate by filling barrels with much needed food at these locations:
• City Hall Lobby – 810 Union Street
• Department of Human Services – 741 Monticello Ave
• Granby Municipal Building – Neighborhood Development – 401 Monticello Avenue
• All 18 recreation centers
• Recreation, Parks and Open Space Administrative Offices – 501 Boush Street
• All Library branches
Summer months can be some of the most difficult for families because children often lack access to school lunch programs.
We Feed Norfolk is a key component of the Norfolk Plan to Reduce Poverty.
