AMC Theatres is offering all AMC Stubs members a free large popcorn at every AMC location all day on Sunday, July 31.
The promotion is offered at two local theaters–AMC Hampton Towne Center and AMC Lynnhaven.
Moviegoers can sign up for the free AMC Stubs membership program at any AMC theater. Existing members will be upgraded to AMC Stubs Premiere and will also be able to get a free popcorn.
The company is expecting to give away more than 100,000 pounds, or 325,000,000 kernels, of free popcorn.
