CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Chesapeake Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Thursday morning on Centerville Turnpike.
The crash happened near Hickory Station Drive around 5 a.m.
Police say two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on the road when they collided head-on.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a 58-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, an adult male, was treated for minor injuries.
There were no other occupants.
The accident remains under investigation.
