HAMPTON - Pebbles, a service dog, is missing and her Army veteran owner is desperate to find her.

According to Dara Jackson, Pebbles disappeared on July 10th. Jackson says Pebbles was outside with her husband when she was last seen. Jackson says it is possible that Pebbles got loose out of the yard, but since she has never run away before, she believes it’s possible someone found her and took her.

"At first I didn't think that anyone stole her but now I know someone has to have her in their house actually I pray that they do because it's been so hot and thunderstorms," said Jackson.

Jackson says she isn’t angry with whoever has Pebbles, she just wants her back.

"She is priceless to me she helps me in so many different ways."

Pebbles has been with Jackson for the last year. She helps Jackson with her PTSD, depression and seizures.

"I really need her back in my life. I know some people may think they might think oh just get another dog by when you bonded with a dog and the dog isn't just your service dog but apart of your family."

And without her, Jackson says she has been struggling.

"My depression has gotten worse my PTSD has gotten worse and I just beg you all to give her back."

Pebbles is a brown and black Yorkie with a medium length coat.
