Two in custody, one wanted in York County homicide

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The York Poquoson Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a homicide that occurred Friday, July 22.

According to Deputies, 18-year-old Kameron Travis Stanley, was standing next to the curb in front of a residence at 1000 Stewart Drive in York County when three suspects pulled up in a green Mercedes.

One of the car's occupants pulled out a gun and shot Stanley several times.

Stanley was transported to the hospital and later died from his injuries.

18-year-old, Johnathan Cotman, was arrested in connection with this incident on Saturday morning. Later in the afternoon one 17-year-old suspect turned himself in and another suspect of the same age is still wanted.

All of the suspects are charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the York Poquoson Sheriff's Office.
