Tracking triple digit heat index values for the weekend….Get ready for much hotter weather to settle in over the next several days.

As we move through this Friday, we’re expecting a hot, humid day. Highs will climb into the mid 90s. Dew points will rise into the lower 70s, meaning it will feel much hotter by the afternoon, so take your precautions. We’ll see mostly sunny skies today. Rain chances will remain low. Tonight, a few clouds are possible. Otherwise, it will be a warm one, with low temperatures in the mid 70s.

By Saturday and Sunday, we’ll see highs in the mid 90s. However, with dew points in the mid 70s, we’re expecting heat index values in the triple digits this weekend! An isolated shower or storm is possible this weekend. The extreme heat will continue into Monday with highs in the mid 90s. We’ll see highs in the lower 90s by midweek with a chance of showers and storms.

Today: Mostly Sunny and Hot. High temperatures in the mid 90s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Tonight: A Few Clouds. Warm. Low temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds: S/SW 10-15 mph.

Tomorrow: Sun and Clouds. Hot and Humid. High temperatures in the mid and upper 90s. Winds: SW 5-15 mph.
