Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Not as hot or humid… A bit of a break from the heat and humidity for midweek. Highs will only reach the mid 80s today, just below normal for this time of year. It will feel nicer with dew points in the mid 60s to low 70s. A scattered shower or storm is possible this afternoon as a line of fronts slides to our south. Expect sunshine and highs back in the mid 80s on Thursday.
The heat and humidity will return for the weekend. Highs will climb into the low 90s on Friday and mid 90s for both Saturday and Sunday. As the dew point returns to the mid 70s, expect triple digit heat index values again this weekend. A “pop up” shower or storm is possible but overall rain chances will be low.
