Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

A hot and stormy start to the week… Highs today will climb into the low and mid 90s. It will feel more like 100 to 105 this afternoon. Expect sunshine this more with clouds building through the day. Scattered showers and storms will begin to pop up this afternoon and evening. Rain/storm chances will be very hit or miss. Our severe weather threat for today is very low.

Rain and storm chances go up on Tuesday as a cold front moves through. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies tomorrow with showers and storms firing up mainly in the afternoon and evening. Some storms could be strong to severe with heavy downpours and gusty winds. Highs tomorrow will reach to near 90 before the cold front moves in.

Highs will drop into the mid 80s for midweek, behind the cold front. Skies should clear early Wednesday with plenty of sunshine and low rain chances to end the work week. Highs will return to the low 90s for the weekend.
