NORFOLK, Va. – The 19th annual Paddle for the Bay race and paddle will be held on July 30.
The event benefits the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and will take place at Sarah Constant Beach Park, located at 300 West Ocean View Avenue.
Paddle for the Bay will include a three mile fun paddle and a six mile race. It will be certified by the Mid-Atlantic Paddler’s Association.
The competition will bring in a variety of paddlers, including kayaks, stand up paddle boards, outrigger canoes. Paddlers of all skill levels are welcome, as well as spectators.
Register online before the event here. Day of registration runs on July 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Advance registration is $30 or $35 the day of the race. Registration will include a Chesapeake Bay Foundation membership and lunch.
