Man wanted for killing wife, a Fort Bragg soldier, on base

Armstrong FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Officials are looking for a man wanted for killing his wife, a U.S. Army soldier, inside their home on Fort Bragg.

Iris Armstrong was killed on July 1.

A federal warrant for murder was issued for her husband,  27-year-old Jason Earl Armstrong Jr, on July 8.

Armstrong is described as having black hair and brown eyes. He is between 5′ 11″ tall and weighs around 155 pounds.

Armstrong2According to the FBI, Armstrong should be considered armed and dangerous.

He has ties to Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, California, Louisiana and Arizona.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading directly to his arrest.
