Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
A nice start to the week… Temperatures will only climb into the mid 80s this afternoon. Highs will remain in the mid 80s, near normal, for the first half of the work week. Expect a mix of sun and clouds today with an isolated shower or storm possible. Our chances for showers and storms will increase for Tuesday and Wednesday as a stationary front over the Carolinas slides north.
Highs will return to the low 90s with more humidity for the second half of the week. Heat index values will be back to the triple digits on Thursday and Friday. Rain chances will drop a bit for Thursday but scattered showers and storms will be possible for Friday and the weekend.
