NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Botanical Garden and the Butterfly Society of Virginia are holding their third annual Butterfly Festival on July 16.
The festival is free with Garden admission and is set to take place in the Garden’s Bristow Butterfly Garden.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy demonstrations, crafts, gardening workshops, face painting and an aerial silks performance by Carolina Emma Diaz. Diaz also performed at the Garden’s LanternAsia exhibition.
Seoul 757, Just Cupcakes, Gerty’s Gourmet Kitchen and the Garden’s Marigold & Honey Cafe will provide tasty treats for attendees.
Visitors will able to buy butterfly friendly plants from the Garden Gift Shop and the Butterfly Society of Virginia.
Butterfly lovers will also have the opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with butterflies and caterpillars at the Garden’s Butterfly House.
