Rain and storms, then a break, followed by more storms for the holiday weekend….As we move through our Tuesday evening, expect a few scattered showers and thunderstorms as a cold front slowly moves through the area. Some of the rain could be heavy early. Then, we’ll see the rain taper off tonight. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies. Areas of patchy fog will likely develop. Low temperatures will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

With the front just offshore on Wednesday, a couple of isolated showers and storms are possible, but most areas will be dry under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid 80s. Even on Thursday, most areas will likely be dry. But an isolated shower or storm could develop with the daytime heating. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

Another frontal system moves into the area by the weekend, giving way to more unsettled weather. In fact, we’re tracking a chance of rain and thunderstorms through the holiday weekend. Right now, best rain chances arrive on Sunday. But some rain is also possible on the 4th of July. We’ll continue to keep an eye on it for you.
