A few more showers and storms today, then drier weather for the weekend….As we move through this Friday, we’ll likely see a few more showers and possibly some thunderstorms as a cold front continues pushing south. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures in the mid 80s. Tonight, a few isolated showers may linger around the area. Low temperatures will fall into the lower 70s.
With the front just to our south on Saturday, we’ll hang on to a few more clouds and even a couple of stray showers. However, most of us should be dry. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s Saturday. We’ll see more sun by Sunday with high temperature in the lower 80s.

Tonight: Partly to Mostly Cloudy. Isolated Showers/Storms Possible (20%). Low temperatures in the upper 60s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.

Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue over the Bay of Campeche in association with a broad area of low pressure. This system has become less organized since yesterday and the aircraft reconnaissance mission scheduled for this afternoon has been cancelled. Significant development of the low is not expected before it moves inland over eastern Mexico on Saturday.
