Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

More heat and more storms…. Expect partly cloudy skies today with a string of fronts lingering to our north. Rain chances will stay low for most of the day with chances climbing late tonight. Expect scattered showers and storms mixed across the Mid-Atlantic from late tonight through Thursday and into Friday as an area of low pressure and cold front drag through. Some storms could be strong to severe on Thursday. Rain showers will linger through Friday morning with clearing skies in the afternoon.

Expect highs near 90 again today and climbing into the low and mid 90s on Thursday. Behind Thursday’s cold front will be a nice cool down. Expect highs in the low 80s for Friday and the weekend.

The cold front will stall to our south this weekend. As long as the front line stays to our south, we will see a solid dose of sunshine and low rain chances.

Today: Partly Cloudy. Highs near 90. Winds: SW/W 5-15

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Overnight Showers/Storms(30%). Lows in the mid 70s. Winds: SW 5-10

Tomorrow: Partly to Mostly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms(50%). Highs in the low to mid 90s. Winds: SW/W 5-15
