BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Patients at Children’s of Alabama hospital in Birmingham were surprised with a visit from singer-songwriter Jason Mraz on Monday.
In a video posted to the hospital’s YouTube account, Mraz serenaded a patient in her room with his hit song “I’m Yours.”
Mraz performed at the Birmingam venue Iron City later on Monday night. The hospital visit was part of the venue’s “Artists Care” program, which allows artists to donate memorabilia or make visits to the hospital.
Mraz is a native of Mechanicsville, Virginia.
