NORFOLK, Va. – Police have arrested a man in connection to a homicide.
The shooting happened on Sunday around 7:45 p.m. in the 500 block of Timothy Avenue in the Wards Corner area.
The victim, identified as 25-year-old Blake Scott, was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he later died.
Police identified 26-year-old Dale London as the suspect. London was arrested on second degree murder charges on Tuesday.
According to police, the motive for the shooting is not available to the public at this time.
He is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
