Wells Fargo Center in downtown Norfolk goes dark in honor of Orlando shooting victims

Posted

NORFOLK, Va. – The Wells Fargo Center in downtown Norfolk shut off its light Monday evening to honor the 49 people killed in a mass shooting at an Orlando gay club.

The iconic building is usually lit up at night with colored lights that recognize a specific occasion or celebration.

However, the shooting’s recognition will come in the building’s lack of lights.

The building is located at 440 Monticello Avenue.
