Sunny and warm, then showers and storms….After a hot, muggy weekend, we’re getting a break from the extreme heat. However, it won’t last long. Our temperatures are going up this week, along with our storm chances.
As we move through our Monday evening, expect mostly clear skies and comfortable conditions. Low temperatures will be in the mid 60s. On Tuesday, humidity levels will continue to be low, giving way to pleasant weather. Highs will be in the lower 80s under mostly sunny skies.
Changes move in by the middle of the work week as an upper level low approaches the area. This weather setup will give way to scattered showers and thunderstorms from Wednesday through Friday. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies. The humidity and warm temps will return by then, too. Highs are expected in the mid and upper 80s Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll see the highs back in the lower 80s by Friday.
Right now, we’re expecting partly cloudy skies for Father’s Day Weekend, but we’ll keep an eye on the forecast. Highs will be in the 70s with breezy winds.
