NORFOLK, Va. – A man died in the hospital Monday after being shot Sunday night in Norfolk.
The shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. in the 500 block of Timothy Avenue in the Wards Corner area.
The victim was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he later died. His identity will be released once next of kin have been notified.
They have not released any information yet about a suspect or what led up to the shooting.
Police are now investigating the incident as a homicide.
