VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is once again holding seminars on oyster gardening. The oysters seminars are part of a restoration effort. The Foundation helps teach new gardeners how to grow and maintain oysters, as well as work with established gardeners.
On the same day as the seminars, they also refresh oyster populations from the previous year. Last year’s gardeners have a chance to start over again with more baby oysters.
Chesapeake Bay Foundation invites everyone to come and listen to to the seminar and suggests a $30 donation for those who want to participate. You can find and register for the class on their website.
