Chief Meteorologist Patrick Rockey’s First Warning Forecast
Now this is more like it!
The area of low pressure that brought us cool, cloudy and wet weather for the past few days has moved out, replaced by a broad area of high pressure.
That will bring us an extended period of sunny, warmer weather. Most of us climbed into the lower 80s today and we expect mid-to-upper 80s and even some lower 90s over the next few days.
But this pattern starts to break down just in time for the Memorial Day weekend.
We will have a chance for a few late day storms on Saturday, and a good shot for wet weather Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of next week.
In fact, areas around the Bahamas are becoming a little more primed for tropical activity. So we will be keeping a close eye on the tropics. Stay tuned.
