Chief Meteorologist Patrick Rockey’s First Warning Forecast
Annie was right. The sun will come out tomorrow. In fact, we will see lots of sunshine as we had through the work week.
A broad area of high-pressure will set up shop off the Carolina coast.
That will keep the clouds away for several days and pump in a warm wind from the south. We are expecting high temperatures well into the 80s through the rest of the week, and some areas may even climb into the 90s.
But things start to change as we head into the Memorial Day weekend. That area of high pressure will move out, making way for a series of storm systems. That will give us a slight chance for storms on Saturday and a better chance for stormy weather on Sunday and Memorial Day Monday.
