Tracking more scattered showers for Monday….We’re starting to sound like a broken record, but make sure you have your umbrella nearby. More rain is in the forecast as we begin the work week.
We’re keeping an eye on an area of low pressure that will continue to linger over the Mid-Atlantic on Monday. This will keep our weather even more unsettled and soggy, with mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers here and there through the morning and early afternoon. Once we move into the mid-afternoon, rain chances will start to go down a little bit. High temperatures will be mainly in the mid 60s.
On Tuesday, the low will pull away from the area, and we’ll start to see a little sunshine. But by afternoon, a couple of isolated showers or storms are possible. High temperatures will warm into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Then, our forecast will improve significantly as we move through the rest of the week. In fact, we’ll see a nice mix of sun and clouds from Wednesday through at least the start of the Memorial Day Weekend. High temperatures will warm back into the mid 80s.
Tonight: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers (50%). Areas of Patchy Fog. Low temperatures in the mid 50s. Winds: N/NE 5-10 mph.
Monday: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers (60%). High temperatures in the mid and upper 60s. Winds: N/NW 10-15 mph.
