VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Come and get dirty at the Dirty Girl Mud Run 2016 this Sunday.

The  sixth annual mud run began its season in March and has made its way to Virginia Beach. The event lasts until 2p.m. at the Virginia Sportsplex and they promise that you will finish.

The Dirty Girl Mud Run is a non timed 5k that has fitness obstacles for all fitness levels, shapes and sizes.

This is a day of celebration among women that is more fun than a run.

The Dirty Girl Run has been coming to Virginia Beach for the past three years. "We love coming here, we love the ladies that come out here and there is always a great turn out,"said Alena Han, Logistics Coordinator  of the Dirty Girl Mud Run.

The first 300 cancer survivors are able to participate for free.

Dirty Girl Run is a non profit beneficiary that provides support, awareness and education for young women on breast and ovarian cancer.

For the past three years Dirty Girl had been partnering with Bright Pink- who provides multiple workshops, educational seminars and support for women who have breast or ovarian cancer.

All donations will be matched by the Dirty Girl Mud Run - up to $50,000 for Bright Pink.
