Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast
Clouds, a few showers and cool… Expect mostly cloudy skies again today with some sunshine mixing in. A few scattered showers are possible. Highs today will reach the mid 60s, about 10 degrees below normal. We will return to the 70s on Friday with more sunshine, especially for the first half of the day. Clouds will start to build in Friday afternoon and evening with a few isolated showers possible.
More rain will build in late Friday night as an area of low pressure slides toward the Mid-Atlantic. Expect widespread rain on Saturday with heavy downpours and a few rumbles of thunder possible. Rain chances will be highest from Saturday morning to midday and will start to fall through Saturday afternoon and evening. Scattered showers and clouds will continue for Sunday. Highs will remain in the low 70s this weekend.
