Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

Clouds, showers and cooler… Expect cloudy skies again today with scattered showers. Rain chances will gradually taper off this afternoon but clouds will stick around. Storm chances will be low today with our best chance for areas south of the Albemarle Sound. It will be cooler today with highs only in the mid 60s.

Mostly cloudy skies continue for Thursday with scattered showers possible. Highs tomorrow will warm slightly, into the upper 60s. We will return to the 70s on Friday with a nice mix of sun and clouds and lower rain chances.

Rain will start to build in again late Friday night as an area of low pressure slides toward the Mid-Atlantic. Expect widespread rain with possible storms on Saturday. Scattered showers and clouds continue for Sunday. Highs will remain in the low 70s this weekend.
