Usually SOL testing is not a fun time in our local schools, but the folks at Hermitage Elementary in Virginia Beach are trying to change that.
The video parody is getting a lot of attention on YouTube.
According to Prinicpal Holly Coggin, the school’s new music teacher Jill Kane thought up the idea and shot the entire video on her phone with the help of the school art teacher.
Hermitage isn’t the only school to do a video to motivate the students, White Oaks Elementary also made a video:
