Chief Meteorologist Patrick Rockey’s First Warning Forecast
Well this is great timing: we had stormy weather last week, a pretty pleasant Mother’s Day weekend, and this work week looks to be pretty unsettled again.
A weak cold front has set up shop just to the north of our area. That will bring us plenty of cloud cover over the next few days along with a slight chance for an occasional shower for thunderstorm. But no day is really looking like a washout.
However, a more organized line of showers and thunderstorms arrives on Friday, along a cold front. It looks like some of those storms will linger into Saturday. But at this point most of the weekend is looking dry and fairly pleasant.
We can expect high temperatures mainly in the 70s through the work week and into the weekend. Behind that cold front we may not get out of the 60s on Sunday.
