Hampton - Police need your help to find out who is responsible for driving a car through the front of Treasure Chest Pawn and Gun.

In pictures provided by police, you can see the  car drive through the front of the store. Then a man jumps on the hood of the car before disappearing into the business.

"Once inside the business in reviewing the video surveillance tape it's obvious that two individuals exited the vehicle and once inside the store removed several fire arms as well as multiple pieces of Jewry and then fled," explained Sgt. Bond with Hampton Police.

According to police, the car used to drive through the front of the store was stolen from Newport News. It's a 2012 four-door Honda. The owner of the store did not want to speak on camera about the break-in, but says the entire burglary was over in 45-seconds. Which is common, according to Hampton Police.

"Normally when a crime like this takes place they're in and out very quickly," explained Sgt. Bond. "And as close as the closest officer is, they're not there fast enough."

While it took only seconds for the damage to be done, repairs to the store and inventory won't come as quickly.

"It's just an unfortunate incident especially for these shop owners because they then have to go through not only the replacement of the goods that were stolen but also the repair of their shop," said Sgt. Bond.

A $3,000 reward has been set up for anyone who has information about the burglary by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). But with the men responsible still on the loose, neighbors are concerned about their safety.

"It's going to lead to more crime and then you have to worry about your safety just being a citizen out here," said Dena Barco. "There were guns stolen here and who knows where they are now."

If you have any information about the stolen car or the break-in at Treasure Chest Pawn and Gun take action and call the Crime Line.
